Application Form: Complete the provided application form with accurate and comprehensive information. Ensure all required fields are filled out accurately.

Essay Submission: Submit a 500-word personal essay that addresses the following

• Impact of Crime: Share your personal experience regarding the impact of crime on your life and how it has shaped your journey.

• Counseling and Grief Process: Explain how counseling or support services have assisted you in the grieving process and coping with the aftermath of the crime.

• Importance of the Scholarship: Elaborate on why the Talbert Memorial Fund Scholarship is significant to you and how it will contribute to your educational aspirations and future goals.

Submission: Submit your completed application form and the essay through the scholarship application portal on www.TalbertMemorialFund.org. Ensure all materials are uploaded as per the instructions provided.

Application Deadline: Be mindful of the scholarship application deadline. All materials must be submitted by June 30th, 2024.

Review Process: Once the application period concludes, our dedicated committee will thoroughly review all submitted applications.

​

Notification: Scholarship recipients will be notified of the committee's decision by July 31st, 2024.

​

Award: If selected, scholarship awards will be distributed to the recipients by August 1st, 2024.
